again review supply and demand factors impacting the US vegetable oil
industry during the Monday business session on May 5.
In addition, NCPA is pleased to welcome Dr.
Dermot Hayes, professor of economics & finance at Iowa State

of DDG's and will discuss their impact on U.S. grain, oilseed and
livestock markets. His presentation will start with a description of the

production. In addition, Dr. Hayes will discuss the new Energy Act and the
incentives it creates to sell wet DDG's as well as show Iowa State's DDG
price and volume projections and explain how transportation costs will
influence where and how the product will be used.
